FROM:

Boston, Massachusetts

HEROES:

Bayard Rustin, Helen Suzman, Harvey Milk

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:

The positive feedback I get from readers of my work is my proudest accomplishment. Makes up for all the hate mail!

SOMETHING YOU MIGHT TEACH AT THE SUMMIT:

How America remains the indispensable nation.

SOMETHING YOU HOPE TO LEARN AT THE SUMMIT:

How so many accomplished young people find the time to do so many amazing things.

SOMETHING YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH IN YOUR WORK:

Finding time! I have so many interests and passions that it's nigh impossible to balance it all. One of the greatest things I fear is being viewed as a dilletante.

SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY:

Great books. Great conversation.

SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU ANGRY:

That so many of the world's people continue to live in closed societies.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY:

I wouldn't be anywhere without them. My father is an estate tax lawyer and my mother works at my old high school as a development officer and mentor. My brother is a senior at Princeton University. As I get older I realize how important my family has become in helping me to succeed.

AN IDEA TO MAKE THE 30SUMMIT EVEN BETTER:

Three words: Deep Dish Pizza.
