I come from a large Mexican-Puerto Rican family in Chicago - where speaking loudly was one of the only way for your voice to be heard. Throughout my life my parents served as an example of being a trailblazer in my community and exposed me to social activism and local politics. I have two sisters and a brother, along with a large extended family that lives in the Chicago area.

BIOGRAPHY:
Haydee Caldero is a co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Dignitas, LLC a multi-family office in Chicago, Illinois. Dignitas serves successful high net worth families in the coordination of their personal and financial affairs. Ms. Caldero is responsible for designing innovative client relationship programs to enhance the clients overall experience. Ms. Caldero also serves as the Chief Campaign Strategist and co-founder of the Freemen Institute and brings over nine years of experience in campaign management, public relations, policy, and operations management at the state, local, and federal level. Ms. Caldero was previously at Eastdil Secured where she managed the disposition of over $1.5 billion in commercial real estate. Previously she worked at the University of Illinois at Chicago as the advisor to the Chancellor of External Affairs on various economic development and community relations initiatives including the University Village South Campus Redevelopment Program. Ms. Caldero is a native of Chicago and attended Whitney Young Magnet High School; she received a B.A. in Government and Women’s Studies from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
