FROM:

Tempe, Arizona

HEROES:

Wangari Maathai

PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT:

Hopefully still to come!

SOMETHING YOU MIGHT TEACH AT THE SUMMIT:

What we can do about forestry and climate change

SOMETHING YOU HOPE TO LEARN AT THE SUMMIT:

Examples of social entrepreneurship - how people took the plunge and built something from scratch

SOMETHING YOU ARE STRUGGLING WITH IN YOUR WORK:

Figuring out where to create the impact that "only you" can create.

SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY:

Puppies, trees, rivers and mushrooms

SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU ANGRY:

Monological thinking

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY:

Two wonderful, down-to-earth parents, and a sister who is my hero.

AN IDEA TO MAKE THE 30SUMMIT EVEN BETTER:

Keep presentations to a minimum and leave lots of time for collaborative working - the thing that kills most meetings I go to is that there is too much presentation and not enough group-based interactive work.
