BIOGRAPHY:
Michael is passionate about improving the K12 public education system in the US. He is currently a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group's Chicago office and focuses on general strategy projects in addition to public education work. His latest project was helping to design and then implement a teacher effectiveness strategy for the Hillsborough County Public School district (HCPS won a $100M grant from The Gates Foundation because of the strategy). Michael joined BCG after graduating from Kellogg in 2008 as a Siebel Scholar. Prior to Kellogg, he taught high school math to low-income students in the New York City public school system. He also worked as a financial services consultant with Oliver Wyman and is a CFA affiliate charterholder. Michael grew up in Cleveland, Ohio as one of 4 boys and is an irrationally exuberant Cleveland sports fan.
